Job Description:
Location: Maryland, D.C. and Northern Virginia
Responsible for performing Professional Audio-Visual systems installation & integration duties. Applies knowledge and understanding of signal & cable types, terminations, network, rack fabrication, projector & screen mounting, Video & Audioconferencing in addition to schedule and cost management.
Candidates should be experienced with different cable and connector types as well as solder, crimp and compression fittings.
They should be familiar with:
- projector mounts and motorized lifts
- screens, microphones
- audio processors
- control systems and preferably videoconferencing
CTS certification preferred.
Qualified Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to read plans, room and equipment layout via CAD or Visio
- Understand Line diagrams and rack elevations
- Responsibility for organization and time management
- Have a positive outlook with a strong sense of motivation
- Ability to perform within tight deadlines
- Ability to understand quality performance with attention to detail
- Friendly & Professional communication with internal and external customers
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience within Commercial Professional Audio Visual Integrations
- Able to lift 75lbs or more
- Driver’s License with reliable transportation to work
- Some travel required
- Regular attendance and occasional overtime required
